General information about the Cessna 400 series
The Cessna 400 is a light aircraft from the United States. The model was designed by the manufacturer Cessna, or Columbia Aircraft Corporation. The first flight was completed in June 2000, after which the market entry in the same year still followed. The single-engine low-wing aircraft has a solid chassis. The Cessna 400 series is similar to the Cessna 350. Only the engine has been changed. Originally the machine was sold under the name Cessna 400. From January 2009, this name changed in Corvalis TT, which stands for twin turbocharged. The machine has an aerodynamic composite cell, as well as a glass cockpit with products from Garmin. In November 2007, the company Columbia was taken over in parts of Cessna, which explains the different naming. The Cessna 400 is the first piston aircraft without analogue instruments. In January 2018, production was discontinued due to weak sales.
