General information about the Cessna 414 Chancellor
The Cessna 414 is also commonly referred to as the Chancellor. The machine was designed and marketed by the US company Cessna. The first flight took place in 1968. From 1968 to 1985, a total of 1,055 units were produced. The upgraded version, the Cessna 414A Chancellor, has been available since 1978. With the Cessna 414 a machine was brought to market, which is lighter and weaker motorized in contrast to the Cessna 421, but also much more economical. The hull and the wings of the Chancellor are descended from the Cessna 411. Militarily, the model is used by the Bahamas.

The machine can accommodate one to two crew members. It is powered by two boxer engines of the Continental Motors TSIO-520-NB with 230 kW each. The empty weight of Chancellor is 1,976 kilograms and the maximum takeoff weight is 3,062 kilograms. The cruising speed is at 324 kilometers per hour, with top speed increasing to 438 kilometers per hour. The maximal service ceiling is at 9,394 meters and the tank has a range of 2,050 kilometers.
