General information about the Citation II / Citation Bravo

The Cessna 550 is commonly referred to as Citation II. It is a twin-engine business jet of the US company Cessna. The machine belongs to the family of the Citation range. The first flight had the Citation II on January 31, 1977, followed a year later followed by the market entry. In the period from 1978 to 1994, 733 pieces of the Citation II were produced. Her successor was the Citation Bravo. Of these, 337 were made in the period between 1996 and 2006. The Citation II is an extended version of the Citation I. The machine is used not only as a cruise aircraft, but also as a photo, measurement, research and ambulance aircraft. In 1997, the Citation II was replaced by the Citation Bravo. The Citation Bravo can accommodate a maximum of two crew members and up to ten passengers. It is 14.39 meters long and has a height of 4.57 meters. The span is 15.90 meters and the wing area is 30.0 square meters. The empty weight of the aircraft is 3,970 kilograms and the maximum mass of straw affects 6,715 kilograms. The Citation Bravo has a maximum cruising speed of 743 kilometers per hour and a maximum range of 3,520 kilometers. The plane has a maximal service ceiling of 13,716 meters and the thrust is twice 12.8 kilonewtons. The engines are from Pratt & Whitney, model PW530A.
