General information about Maule M-7 series
The Maule M-7 series was built by the US company Maule Aircraft and had its first flight in 1984. The designer is also the company founder, Belford Maule. By 1995, about 500 of the model had been built. It is the Maule M-7 is a single-engine light aircraft with high-wing, braced covers. It has a tail wheel and a three-wheeled undercarriage for maneuvering on the ground. In addition, it can be equipped with floats and thus also be used for operations on the water. In contrast to the predecessor models, the Maule M-7 series can also be fitted with a child seat with option on another cabin window. The model was equipped with both a piston and a turboprop drive. There are different variants with this model.

The Maule M-7-235 is powered by a Lycoming IO-540-W engine with 175 kilowatts of power. The cruising speed is 265 kilometers per hour and the maximal service ceiling affects 1,610 kilometers.
