The Dornier 228-100 is a twin-engine turbine propeller aircraft, which completed its maiden flight on March 21, 1981. The machine comes from the German manufacturer Dornier and has next to the new wing construction TNT, a short take-off and -landefähigkeit. Produced in Germany from 1981 to 1998, the Dornier 228-100 played an important role as a feeder aircraft in the 1980s, above all in German regional air traffic.
